FactoryTalk ViewPoint extends the access to FactoryTalk View Site Edition (SE) and Machine Edition (ME) applications to user’s mobile devices for improved real-time decision making.
As an add-on to FactoryTalk® View SE and PanelView™ Plus, FactoryTalk ViewPoint delivers a rich, interactive experience that includes real-time and historical trending. You gain the simplicity of standard browser navigation and new degrees of access to critical FactoryTalk View information all in a web browser. There is no client software to install and maintain, lowering total cost of ownership.
It features quick and secure access to plant floor HMI applications will streamline decision-making time, it lets you configure role based security for graphic screens and interaction capabilities, and you decide what FactoryTalk View graphic screens can be accessed.
Other features are connectivity to real-time data via FactoryTalk Live Data and historical data via FactoryTalk Historian and FactoryTalk View Datalogs, simplified view-only alarm interface of FactoryTalk Alarms and Events, and support for numeric and string displays, global objects, embedded variables, parameters, and docked displays.
